What is the mechano growth factor?
Mechano Growth Factor is a peptide procured from a dissimilar sequence of insulin-like growth factor-1, which plays a large role in childhood development and continues to have anabolic effects throughout adulthood.
Mechano growth factor (MGF) is an ideal interwoven alternative of the Insulin-Like Growth Factor. Its form of RNA is present in tissues of muscles which is expressed during any injury or overload.
It’s a peptide whose C terminal is an important region in which alternative splicing takes place. This alternative splicing is brought out by a shift in the reading frame in which a specific C terminal sequence is encoded. This is being done by 5 and 6 exon. Furthermore, MGF can elicit very different effects with mGF promoting satellite cell proliferation and IGF-1 inducing differentiation.
Impact of MGF on skin:
- It does increase the production of collagen and elastin in the skin.
- This keeps the skin firm, smooth, good looking and healthy.
- It provides a youthful looking complexion.
- MGF Dosage: MGF 5mg
- Recommended dose is 200 micrograms / day. It varies as per an individual.
How Does MGF Work?
Whenever we do training our body increases the expression of Insulin-Like Growth Factor I gene. This causes more release of mechano growth factor in greater amounts.
MGF possess C terminal which makes it more capable of activating
Because MGF has this special C-terminal, it appears that MGF is rather good at activating and replenishing the muscle satellite cells.
In simple terms, it helps in repair, regeneration and formation of new muscle cells which in turn is important for growth of muscles.
It works better in young individuals when compared to adults.
If it’s given along with some essential factors it may lead to growth of muscles to even 35% within a week.
Half life of MGF?
Half life of mechano growth factor is 5- 7 minutes which is quite short, thus mechano growth factor is pegylated which increases its half life to 48-72 hours.
Benefits of MGF( Mechano growth factor) 5MG.
- Muscle growth when combined with mechanical overload
- Tissue repair of injured muscles
- Increase in satellite cells within skeletal muscle
- Makes functioning of the cardiovascular system better and improves brain capacity.
Common side effects may include:–
Injection site reactions such as redness, itching, or edema.
More severe side effects could include:-
headaches, dizziness, or allergic reactions.
It’s important to consult your doctor before taking it as it may lead to severe hypersensitivity reactions if not tested before use and the patient may even go into anaphylactic shock.
